Project Details
Principal items of Work include the replacement of approximately 4,974 lineal feet of existing 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch asbestos concrete (AC) water main with 5,260 lineal feet of 4-inch and 8-inch ductile iron (DI) water main, replacement of fire hydrants, valves, blow offs, meter boxes, water service lines from the new water main to the meter; asphalt concrete patch and overlay; cement concrete driveway repair, and surface restoration. The existing water mains will be abandoned in place after being filled with controlled density fill (CDF), and the existing roadway will have a half width grind and overlay performed where new DI main has been installed.
