Kent Cascade Relief Interceptor No. 2 Project

Project Details

The Kent-Cascade Relief Interceptor No. 2 (KCRI2) project will consist of installing a new parallel gravity sewer main from the existing discharge point (just east of the intersection of SE 256th St and 116th Ave SE), to a new connection point with King County’s South 277th Interceptor, which is part of the County’s regional sewer system. The purpose of the new interceptor is to increase the capacity.

The proposed KCRI2 is comprised of approximately 3,700 linear feet (LF) of 30-inch-high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe that will run parallel main to the existing mainline. Both the existing mains and the proposed main run south along 116th, then go west to 114th where they connect to the King County 277th Interceptor.
