Project Details
Principal items of Work include the replacement of approximately 140 water services, cutting in two gate valves, meter boxes, and new water service lines from the existing water main to the meter. All work shall be done by trenchless means. Asphalt windowing removal at the water main will be included, as well as asphalt concrete patch and overlay, cement concrete driveway repair, and surface/landscape restoration. A portion of the existing service lines will be removed as noted. Most of the existing water service lines will be abandoned in place after the new service lines have been pulled into place.
