PFAS
Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are man-made chemicals used in a wide variety of stain-resistant, water-resistant, non-stick and fire suppressant products. PFAS can get into drinking water if they are made, used, disposed of, or spilled near your water source. Fortunately, because the SPU Cedar River Watershed provides 100% of Soos Creek’s water supply, regular testing confirms that PFAS are not present in our water.
