sewer availability to properties within the Soos Creek
Water and Sewer District's service and planning area.
We can also provide information regarding the status
of current development projects, annexation, ULID
formation, water and sewer main locations as they
relate to your project, and connection charges.

Side Sewer Permits and Inspections
A side sewer is the pipe that connects to the District's
sewer stub, starting at the property line, and extends to
your home. All side sewer connections require a permit and
inspection by the District. Connection charges are due at
the time of application. Side sewer permits are valid for
150 days from the date of application. To apply for a side
sewer permit or to schedule a side sewer inspection call
(253) 630-9900, ext. 5, to make an appointment.
Side Sewer Drawings
Property owners are responsible for the maintenance of the
side sewer, but Soos Creek Water and Sewer District regulates
installation and repairs. Please contact us at (253) 630-9900
ext. 5, for verification of your side sewer location before
you dig on your property. You will need a permit if you
are going to repair or alter the side sewer. With few exceptions,
the District has drawings of our customers' side sewer locations
on file.

Availability Certificates
Soos Creek Water and Sewer District prepares availability
certificates as requested to comply with the requirements

As-builts are maps showing the location and depth of District
facilities at the time they were constructed. Please contact

Water Meter Installations
Soos Creek Water and Sewer District is responsible for all
water service and meter installations within the District's
service area. To apply for a meter installation call (253) 630-9900,
ext. 5, to make an appointment. Connection charges are due
at the time of application.
The District's maintenance responsibility
stops at the meter. Property owners are responsible for
repair and maintenance of water pipe located on their property.
We do not have location information for pipes located on
private property.
